With the striking Noctra Liner, Frankia heralds a new generation of A-class motorhomes

Why does the Frankia Noctra Liner have such a striking appearance?

Campingtrend checked out the Frankia Noctra Liner 7.6 L at its world premiere at the Caravan Salon 2026. What was the first thing that stood out when the new A-class motorhome was unveiled? Naturally, it was the design, and especially the front end. This has been completely redesigned, explained Frankia’s managing director Konstantin Döhler during the presentation. “Our main question was: why does an A-class motorhome actually have to look like a box? So boxy and straight-lined? We believe it can be done differently. And that is precisely why the Liner has a front end that tapers towards the front. This makes it sportier and more elegant, giving the front a completely different look.”

Sleek lines for the Frankia Noctra

The exterior of the Noctra Liner matches the Noctra Cruiser semi-integrated motorhome (previously known under the working name Next), which was launched last year. Döhler: “Characteristic is the sleek side line of the Noctra. We already started this new exterior design with the Cruiser, and we want to carry that through to the Liner.”

At the front, the A-class motorhome features full-LED headlights and a continuous LED strip. At the rear, we see a Bridge Light, a continuous light strip extending across the entire width. Buyers can choose from two exterior styles: the standard Light variant or the sporty Dark version with more decals, as shown in Düsseldorf.

Where have the side mirrors gone?

An optional digital camera system replaces the traditional side mirrors. Monitors in the cab show the driver what is happening on both sides. Additionally, the reversing camera monitor is mounted on the left side of the redesigned dashboard, which can also function as a digital rear-view mirror.

The armrests of both the driver and passenger seats feature a charging option for smartphones. Handy on the road and at your destination. Frankia has also put a lot of work into the windscreen blinds. The result: electric blinds that can also be used as a sun visor.

How is the redesigned cab of the Frankia Noctra Liner laid out?

The cab flows seamlessly into the face-to-face seating area. A front drop-down bed is optional. Those who choose this drop-down bed will also get special lighting integrated underneath the bed, which creates a sense of space in the lounge. For the interior, Frankia offers a choice of two wood decors and four colour schemes. Upholstery is available in cream or anthracite.

How is the kitchen of the Noctra Liner laid out?

The kitchen features a high-quality mineral worktop with raised edges on the side. The sink cover can be used to extend the worktop. The tall pull-out larder unit has space for an optional Nespresso machine, meaning it doesn’t take up any counter space. The Frankia Noctra Liner comes equipped with a compressor fridge as standard.

How big is the bathroom?

The washbasin and toilet are located on the driver’s side, with the shower cabin opposite. Closing the door to the living area creates a large bathroom and dressing room. The level-entry walk-in shower is generously proportioned, featuring black fixtures that are also mirrored on the opposite side. The mirror cabinet next to the washbasin is a new addition.

Optional rear window in the sleeping area

At the very rear, you will of course find the twin beds, which can be combined to form a double bed. A panoramic window in the rear wall is on the options list. This allows light to flood into the motorhome and lets you look out over the sea or the mountains from your bed. Overhead lockers provide plenty of space for clothes and other belongings.

Redesigned double floor and large garage

The Frankia Noctra Liner is equipped with a redesigned double floor. The large compartment is accessible via exterior hatches and also from the inside through the kitchen. An electric pull-out system with storage crates is optional. The rear garage has a height of 1.27 metres. The floor is lined with checker plate and equipped with lashing rails and compartments to secure items.

Alde hydronic heating is standard equipment. Alde diesel heating is also an option.
