The Bürstner Signature on the Ford Transit was launched just a year ago and immediately won multiple camping awards. This designer semi-integrated motorhome has proven to be a huge success. To offer campers even more choice, the Bürstner Signature is now also available in showrooms on a Mercedes chassis.
The Bürstner Signature is a true designer motorhome. Inside and out, this semi-integrated model looks stunning. But it’s not just about looks. The Signature is packed with creative solutions that ensure an efficient use of space. A great example of this is the lounge bench, which transforms into a belted seat thanks to a patented swivel mechanism.
The most unique aspect of this motorhome is that there is no single ‘standard’ Bürstner Signature. Bürstner offers campers numerous options to make the semi-integrated motorhome entirely their own.
Bürstner believes the quality and elegance of Mercedes are a perfect fit for the Signature. Moreover, there was strong demand for a Mercedes base vehicle for this award-winning semi-integrated motorhome. With the premium Mercedes chassis, the Signature SMT gains plenty of extras. Standard equipment includes a 150 hp engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission, Mercedes’ own MBUX multimedia system with intuitive voice control, a reversing camera, and various assistance and safety systems.
The Bürstner Signature SMT on Mercedes is available in 3,500 kg and 4,500 kg versions. The latter requires a Category C driving licence. Arctic White is the standard exterior colour, with Stone Grey available as an option.
The interior of the Bürstner Signature on Mercedes is modern and warm, featuring fabric wall coverings and ambient lighting. Large windows, including a roof window, let in plenty of natural light. Standard seating upholstery is a combination of grey and vanilla. The options list includes a wide range of colours to style the seating area to your own taste. The overhead locker fronts and tabletop feature the light wood finish Jura. Here too, various options are available, including the darker tones Pine and Walnut.
The Bürstner Signature SMT is available in showrooms in four layouts and two lengths:
The kitchen in the Bürstner Signature is in a class of its own, even if it might not seem like it at first glance. That changes at the touch of a button, when a cabinet rises out of the worktop. This cabinet doubles as a room divider between the kitchen and the bed. An additional worktop is also hidden within the kitchen unit. Pulling this out over the aisle creates extra space for setting things down or chopping vegetables. Furthermore, the kitchen features a smart 143-litre compressor fridge drawer and a worktop extension at the end of the kitchen unit.
We are familiar with the Vario bathroom featuring a swivel shower wall. In the Signature, Bürstner opts for a variation on this concept. The wall with the washbasin slides completely to the left, creating a luxurious shower cubicle.
The starting price for the Bürstner Signature on Mercedes is 116,690 euros.
