Spring is in sight: Pilote introduces four Spring Edition campers

The limited Pilote Spring Edition series consists of four campers: two semi-integrated and two integral campers. The semi-integrated have the Fiat Ducato with a standard 140 hp engine as the base vehicle, the integral campers a 180 hp engine. As an edition model, they get automatic transmission, instead of a manual gearbox with which these campers are normally equipped.

Special exterior

On the outside, the Spring Edition models also differ from their ‘normal’ brothers and sisters. All four campers have different stickers, with the light grey surface with white graphics being particularly striking. The semi-integrated also has a completely black front. Furthermore, the rear of all campers is more streamlined and they are equipped with a black awning with integrated LED lighting as standard.

Less gas consumption

Pilote is committed to more efficient energy management and reduced gas consumption with the Spring Edition. The four edition models are therefore equipped with a 200 Ah lithium battery, a 1,500 W pure sine wave inverter (12V/230V), a 40A fast-charging booster and two 100W PERC solar panels. The gas-powered Truma Combi 6 has been replaced in the Spring Edition with a Truma Combi D6 E, a diesel heater with integrated electric heating elements. The campers are also equipped with a compressor refrigerator.

Interior Pilote Spring Edition

In the interior, Pilote opts for the Pyla design, in which light colours predominate. The upholstery of the cabin seats is a mix of soft fabric and imitation leather. In the kitchen of the Pilote Spring Edition models, the new black tap stands out. Also new in these limited campers is the built-in Nespresso coffee machine from Krups with capsule holder.

Extensive standard equipment

The standard equipment of the Spring Edition campers also includes: 16-inch alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel, an electric parking brake, a reversing camera, a Pioneer car radio with a 7-inch screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a frost-resistant waste water tank and an outdoor shower in the garage.

These are the models that Pilote is releasing as a Spring Edition:

All campers have four sleeping places, four belted places and five seats. They come on a 3500 kg chassis, with the integrated models having a 4400 kg capacity.

Spring Edition in March

Pilote will put the Spring Edition models in the showroom from March.
