Dethleffs introduces the Dethleffs Graneo A 6823-2, a luxury overcab motorhome built on a rear-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter. This winterised motorhome, measuring nearly 8 metres in length, features single beds in the overcab and a spacious rear U-shaped seating area.

The Mercedes Sprinter serves as the base vehicle for the 7.96-metre-long Dethleffs Graneo A 6823-2. Under the bonnet is a 190 hp engine paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. The Sprinter features rear-wheel drive, dual rear wheels (two rear wheels per side), and track widening for extra stability. With a maximum authorised mass of 5,500 kilograms, a C1 driving licence is required for this motorhome.

The cab of the Graneo overcab motorhome is finished in Obsidian Black. This combines beautifully with the bodywork in Campovolo Grey, complemented by black and Dethleffs Red accents.

How much living space does the Dethleffs Graneo have?

The great thing about an overcab motorhome is that you sleep upstairs, leaving a huge amount of living space below – without the need for a fixed bed. In the Dethleffs Graneo A 6823-2, the entire rear section is reserved for an enormous U-shaped seating area, featuring a large table with a telescopic leg in the middle. The table can be fully lowered to create a second bed. In this configuration, the motorhome offers four berths.

The large seating group is surrounded by panoramic windows, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even while inside. Special conversion kits to turn the bench seats into belted passenger seats are available at an additional cost.

How large are the beds in the overcab?

A striking feature of the Dethleffs Graneo is the overcab bed. While this is often a double bed, Dethleffs has chosen longitudinal single beds for this new overcab motorhome. Measuring 217/206 x 80 cm, they are spacious enough for taller campers. Thanks to windows on both sides of the overcab, the space feels light and airy rather than cramped.

What is the bathroom layout?

The bathroom is situated between the cab and the living area. Opening the bathroom door creates a closed partition that completely separates the sleeping area from the kitchen and seating group. This is highly convenient if one person wants to sleep while the other stays up.

The shower cubicle features a wooden duckboard, matte black taps, and a rear wall with LED lighting. Opposite is the toilet compartment with a washbasin and a matte black tap. The large mirror above is equipped with indirect lighting. The bathroom offers plenty of storage space, and two wardrobes are located underneath the overcab beds.

What amenities can be found in the kitchen?

The kitchen comes fully equipped, featuring a three-burner gas hob, an extractor hood, a spice rack, and a pull-out larder unit. The options list includes a cooker with an electric hob, three gas burners, and an oven plus grill. The refrigerator can be opened from both sides and has a capacity of 153 litres.

How much can I take with me in the Dethleffs Graneo?

The increased front axle load capacity and the maximum authorised weight of 5,500 kg make it possible to carry plenty of gear in this overcab motorhome. There is ample room in the garage for bicycles, sports equipment, supplies, or other luggage, with access from both sides via 95 x 115 cm doors.

As standard, the Dethleffs Graneo is equipped with a 232-litre fresh water tank and a 222-litre waste water tank, housed inside the heated 38 cm deep double floor. Optionally, Dethleffs also offers solar panels and a macerator toilet with a 137-litre tank.
