A trailer tent doesn't have to be large to offer comfortable camping. Camp-let proves just that with the new Alba. This compact, Danish-made trailer tent has been specially developed for two people, offering ease of setup combined with a clever drawer layout and a luxury Topster kitchen. We got a closer look at it at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.
The Camp-let Alba uses one half of the trailer body as a spacious storage area with large drawers. Where traditional trailer tents fold out a bed on both sides, the Alba only features a double bed measuring 1.40 x 2 metres in the lid. The bed comes as standard with a moisture-regulating under-mattress.
The other part of the trailer body contains large storage drawers. These can also be accessed via the tailgate when the trailer is closed. This makes it easy to grab your gear during a quick stopover.
The Camp-let Alba comes standard with a luxury Topster kitchen featuring a sink and water supply. The worktop measures 173 by 42 centimetres, providing plenty of workspace to prepare breakfast or a campsite meal. You can configure the worktop to your liking with a separate stove.
The tent itself has a depth of 230 centimetres and comes in a grey colour scheme. The tent canvas is made of sturdy Isacryl fabric with a polyester roof. The trailer tent sits on wheels with matte black rims. For those wanting to travel with more than two people, the Alba can be expanded with a guest cabin. A bucket groundsheet and spare wheel are also available as options.
The introductory price of the Camp-let Alba is 13,500 euros. For this, you get the trailer tent including the SunSet Alba awning and the standard equipment mentioned above. Would you like to see the trailer tent with your own eyes? Then visit the Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs, from 30 September to 4 October in Utrecht. You will find the stand of Camp-let, part of the Danish Isabella Group, in Hall 11.
