Nice and compact: 5 x narrow semi-integrated campers

Marije Onderwaater

The width of a bus camper and the space of a 'regular' semi-integrated; the narrow semi-integrated camper has both. Vans, they are also called. This compact camper is popular with campers due to its manoeuvrability. Therefore: 5 x a narrow semi-integrated.

Adria Compact Max

Compact has been Adria’s narrow semi-integrated series for years. The Fiat Ducato, 2.12 metres wide, serves as the base vehicle. Last summer, another series of narrow semi-integrateds was added, under the name Compact Max. For this series, Adria has chosen the Volkswagen Crafter as the base vehicle for the first time. At 2.17 metres, it is slightly wider than the Compact on Fiat, but still very slim for a semi-integrated camper.

Transverse bed or single beds

These are the three layouts in the same number of lengths:
Compact Max SP: 6.50 metres, dinette bench, transverse bed.
Compact Max SL: 6.99 metres, dinette bench, single beds.
Compact Max DL: 7.25 metres, face-to-face layout, single beds.

All layouts have four approved seats. Two people can sleep in the SP; a third sleeping place can be created in the SL and DL.

Etrusco Van

The Italian Etrusco, part of the Erwin Hymer Group, has been in the Dutch showroom since 2023. Etrusco also opts for the narrow semi-integrated and that in three layouts. All three Vans are 2.14 meters wide and have the Ford Transit as the base vehicle.

Three lengths

The latest addition is the V 6.8 SCF, which was introduced last summer for model year 2025. It is 6.83 meters long and has a spacious face-to-face seating area plus single beds. The V 6.6 SF is slightly shorter at 6.71 meters and also has single beds. No longitudinal benches opposite each other here, but an L-shaped seating area and a chair. There is also a short Van: the 5.99 meter long V 5.9 DF with a transverse bed and also an L-shaped seating area.

Benimar Yrteo

The narrow semi-integrated Benimar Yrteo, which has a Ford Transit chassis, is only 2.14 metres wide. Campers who don’t mind a few extra kilos will be impressed by the load capacity of this Spanish camper, which is no less than 700 kilograms.

Narrow semi-integrated with vario bath

The Benimar Yrteo series currently consists of two layouts. The 5.99-metre long Yrteo 840 has a transverse bed and a vario bathroom with a rotating washbasin wall. The seating area with extendable table offers five places and can optionally be converted into a bed. The Benimar Y861 is 6.69 metres long and has single beds plus a vario bathroom. The seating area with optional bed conversion is the same as in the Y840.

Chausson narrow semi-integrated

Chausson also has a series of narrow semi-integrated motorhomes, which offers something for everyone. The three layouts are 2.10 metres wide, making them the most compact semi-integrated motorhomes in this range.

Trio in sports version

The latest layout is the Chausson S695, which was presented last summer. It is 6.59 metres long and equipped with a French bed. The same length is the S697, which has single beds. The smallest of the three is the 5.99-metre long S514 with a transverse bed. All models have a vario bathroom, a straight kitchen to the left of the entrance and a dinette bench plus table. The trio is also available in the matt grey sports version.

X-series

Chausson has two more narrow semi-integrated motorhomes in its fleet. The X-series is also 2.10 metres wide. You can read more about these motorhomes with their striking appearance via the button below.

Sunlight Vans

With a width of 2.14 metres, the Sunlight Vans fit perfectly in this series of narrow semi-integrateds. This series also has three layouts with different lengths and different beds. All three have a compact bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet, a straight kitchen and a dinette.

The Sunlight V 60 is 5.94 metres long and is equipped with a transverse bed. The V 66 is a lot longer at 6.64 metres, which means that there is enough space for single beds. The 6.85 metre long V 69, which has a queen-size bed, is really special. This bed is not often seen in a narrow semi-integrated.
