A Hobby low-profile motorhome with maritime touches, and it leaves you wanting more. The German manufacturer is expanding its Prestige low-profile range with two new layouts, bringing the series to three models. Both newcomers have a spacious rear bathroom.
Hobby’s Prestige line extends across multiple leisure vehicles. There is a Prestige line for caravans and campervans, for instance. In October 2025, Hobby also introduced a Prestige low-profile motorhome: the 7-metre-long T 710 GE with twin beds, an L-shaped seating area and a combined bathroom on the driver’s side.
This layout remains, although the yacht-inspired interior is getting an update. This refreshed interior can also be seen in the two newcomers introduced below. For the 2027 model year, the Hobby Prestige interior gets a more streamlined character. The indirect lighting now flows from the overhead lockers into the kitchen. The kitchen splashback has been updated, adding power sockets and light switches. Hobby has also opted for graphite grey panels in the kitchen, bathroom, and seating area. Naturally, the yacht-style flooring remains. At the bed, the headboard has been redesigned, featuring different reading lights and more storage options for small items. The indirect lighting here has also been updated.
The two new Hobby Prestige low-profile motorhomes are both slightly longer than the existing T710 GE layout: 7.40 metres instead of 7 metres. That brings extra space in the L-shaped seating area, among other things. The side bench on the passenger side is therefore slightly wider than in the existing Prestige low-profile motorhome.
The T740 WE is equipped with twin beds measuring 2.00/1.97 x 0.78 metres. Behind this is the bathroom, spanning the entire width of the motorhome. There is no need to slide or fold anything away here. While one person freshens up in the shower cubicle, the other can easily brush their teeth at the fixed washbasin. Naturally, there is also a toilet.
No twin beds, but a French bed (2.03 x 1.38/1.05 metres) in the new T740 WF. In the sleeping area, a sideboard has been placed on the driver’s side. This side also provides access to the bathroom, which likewise extends across the entire rear width and is equipped with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The kitchen is large – this also applies to the T740 WE – and features plenty of storage space, a two-burner gas hob, and a round sink. The 133-litre Dometic refrigerator is located opposite the kitchen unit.
The three motorhomes in the Prestige series offer two to five berths as required.
The Hobby Prestige semi-integrated motorhomes use the Fiat Ducato as a base vehicle, with a 180 hp engine and automatic transmission under the bonnet. Furthermore, the three motorhomes are equipped with driver assistance systems, a Thule Omnistor awning, cab blinds, beds with slatted frames and cold foam mattresses, and a Truma Combi 6 heater, among other features. All functions can be operated via the 7-inch touchscreen panel or the HobbyConnect app. Additionally, all Hobby motorhomes and campervans are equipped with a reversing camera starting from this model year.
There is also news from Hobby in the caravan sector. Both the exterior and interior are getting a major makeover. We tell you all about the 2027 caravans in this article.
