EditorMarije has been camping under canvas for as long as she can remember. She travels with her partner and their two sons in a Campooz Fat Freddy trailer tent, and writes about motorhomes and camping gear for Campingtrend.

That holiday feeling comes naturally in an Innova campervan with the light and airy Beach interior, one of the new interior styles offered by the family business from Cuijk. Also new is the lounge seating in the Roadtrip 695L on the 7-metre Sprinter.
The luxurious Innova Roadtrip campervans are renowned for their unique yacht-style interior, high-quality finish and flexibility. A campervan should fit the person travelling in it, they believe at Innova. That is why they offer countless possibilities in terms of colours and layouts, for the Roadtrip 595L, the Roadtrip 695L as well as the 4×4 campervan Taklamakan.
In terms of interior styles, there was already a choice between Wood & Mood, Black & White, Adventure and Modern Oak. Now, the fresh Beach style has been added, instantly transporting you to sunny destinations. This interior style is characterised by cabinets and panels with a light wood decor and matching upholstery, creating a tremendous sense of space. Campers can complete the style with a light floor or opt for a dark shade instead, which creates a beautiful contrast. And that floor, of course, has a yacht look, just as we have come to expect from Innova.
The many possibilities of the Innova campervans are beautifully showcased in the Roadtrip 695L and the Taklamakan XL, both based on the 7-metre Mercedes Sprinter and available in 4×4. These campers have an extra free metre at the front, which buyers can configure entirely to their own liking. New is the option for a lounge sofa with a matching footstool. The sofa is positioned on the left side, inviting you to lie back – with your legs on the footstool next to the kitchen unit – to look outside or read a book. Prefer to relax in the cab seat? The footstool can easily be reached from there too.
In the kitchen, there is a choice of a worktop in light or dark shades. Cooking can be done on gas or, optionally, on induction. The cabinets are spacious and offer plenty of room for pots, pans, tableware and supplies. Standard equipment includes a Webasto Isotherm 85-litre refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
The bathroom in the Roadtrip campervans has been updated. Innova has added a cabinet under the washbasin, and customers can choose to have one or two overhead cabinets. Also new are the shower deck and the waterless Clesana toilet.
At the back of the camper, you will find the spacious U-shaped seating area, which converts into a bed in no time.
At the Caravan Salon, Innova showcased another first: the Revotion system, which allows you to control all campervan functions. This can be done via the touchscreen or with an app. Is everything going digital then? No, Innova believes it is important that all functions always work, so combining this with manual control of things like lighting remains possible.
Naturally, Innova will be present at the Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, which starts on 30 September. You can find the Dutch camper builder in Hall 12. And if you have no plans yet this weekend, set course for Düsseldorf, where Innova has a stand in Hall 17.
