New: The Hobby Beachy 420+ is a stylish family caravan

The new caravan is 4.26 meters long (5.69 meters with the towbar) and weighs just 836 kilograms. The permitted total weight is 1000 kilograms, but this can be increased to 1200 kilograms. At first glance, nothing too extraordinary. However, Hobby has managed to turn that compact space into something truly appealing.

Bunk bed or cozy sofa?

What stands out about the new Beachy 420+ is its flexible layout. For example, there’s a multifunctional wall that allows you to easily create a toilet area with a Porta Potti or a changing room. This wall can also serve as a partition between the sitting and sleeping areas. Hello, privacy!

The caravan has four sleeping spaces. The rear seating area, a spacious face-to-face arrangement with two tables, offers plenty of seating comfort and can be transformed into a bed of 2.0 x 1.7 meters for the night.

However, the real eye-catcher is the second, smaller seating area at the front. This can be turned into either a cozy sofa or a bunk bed. One bed is 69 x 197 centimeters, and the other is 79 x 193. Both can support up to 100 kilograms, meaning they can accommodate not-too-large and heavy adults.

The kitchen of the Hobby Beachy 420+ is conveniently positioned next to the entrance door, between the two seating areas. The 39-liter cooler box is fully retractable and equipped with a safety lock.

Additionally, the Beachy 420+ offers quite a bit of storage space, such as a wardrobe. You can also store a lot of items in the space under the rear seating area.

Fresh colors that evoke the beach feeling

Like the other Beachy caravans, the 420+ has a fresh look that immediately evokes the sun, sea, and beach. The interior colors are inspired by the warm tones of a sunset, with corduroy fabrics in subtle blue ‘Ocean’ and the darker ‘Ocean Midnight.’ Red and yellow cushions add a cheerful touch, while the indirect LED lighting under the overhead cabinets, in the kitchen, and at the front of the caravan creates an extra cozy atmosphere.

In addition to the already extensive standard features, Hobby offers a number of extras, such as the Knott ETS Plus stabilization system, a storage box for the towbar, an electric heating system, an awning, a bike rack, and a portable toilet.

The new Beachy 420+ is now available for order from dealers. Hobby expects to deliver the first caravans in June, starting at €19,340.
