Werz Magnum 5.1: eye-catcher on Mercedes Vito

Werz Wohnmobile comes from Germany. The company specializes in custom-building campers based on Volkswagen models. They focus on individual modifications, with customers being able to choose from various options for roof type, wheelbase, furniture, beds and technical equipment. The campers are built in the factory in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The carpentry of the furniture and sewing of the upholstery also takes place here.

Choose Mercedes

Werz mainly converts Volkswagen buses into campers. For the Magnum 5.1, Werz opts for the Mercedes Vito. As befits a Mercedes, the Vito is equipped with various assistance systems, LED headlights, MBUX multimedia system, a reversing camera and more. Optionally, there is a choice of a 163 hp or 190 hp engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Fixed high roof

The compact dimensions of the Vito (5.14 metres long, 1.93 metres wide) also make this camper van ideal for use in the city. In addition, the fixed high roof, which was specially developed for this 2025 model, offers the possibility of standing in the van.

The corner bench with two belted places offers plenty of seating space. The accompanying table can be installed in various ways. There are drawers under the bench with a considerable amount of storage space.

Kitchen unit and toilet

The kitchen unit is compact, but offers everything a camper needs. This includes a compressor refrigerator with a capacity of 62 liters. Above that, a square sink and two gas burners.

The Werz Magnum 5.1 also has sanitary facilities. A toilet is concealed under the side bench. Rinsing off outside the bus is possible with the pull-out kitchen tap, which can function as a shower.

Bed for two persons

The sofa can be converted into a bed in seconds. With dimensions of 2.03/1.95 meters x 1.65 meters, it is large enough for two people.

Winter camping and going off-road

The bus is well insulated, equipped with diesel heating and the water tanks are frost-resistant. This means that the Werz Magnum 5.1 is suitable for winter camping.
