Rimor Kilig 79 Plus: unique semi-integrated for 7 (!) persons

Marije Onderwaater

Rimor celebrates spring with two special models: the Kilig 79 Plus and the Sarus 96 Plus. We will come back to the latter later in this article. Because the Rimor Killig 79 Plus is really worth mentioning. A semi-integrated with seven belted places and seven sleeping places is hardly ever seen.

The striking seven-person camper is part of the Kilig series. The base vehicle of this Rimor is the Ford Transit with a 165 hp engine.

Camper under 7 meters

To accommodate seven people, the Rimor Kilig 79 Plus must be incredibly long? No way! This semi-integrated motorhome remains just under 7 metres, even with seven seats and sleeping places. The width of 2.35 metres is the same as that of other semi-integrated motorhomes.

Two train seats

Rimor places two train seats in the Kilig 79 Plus. The one on the passenger side offers four approved seats and the other train seat also has a belt place. Child seats can be safely attached with the Isofix connection.

This layout with a double seating group requires a different entrance. That is why the entrance door in this semi-integrated is placed further back, near the bunk bed.

Seven sleeping places

A total of seven people can spend the night in the Kilig 79 Plus. The bunk bed in the rear has two single sleeping places (80 x 220 cm). Thanks to their length, these are also suitable for adults. Above the seating area hangs a lifting bed, which has a size of 121 x 200 cm. The train seat can be converted into a bed for two and the benches behind the driver’s seat can be made into a single bed.

Kitchen and bathroom

In the kitchen of the Rimor Kilig 79 Plus three gas burners and a sink. On the other side is the tall refrigerator. Next to it is a wardrobe.

Combination bathroom

The bathroom of this seven-person semi-integrated is fully equipped with toilet, sink and shower.

Rimor Sarus 96 Plus

And then there is that other Rimor spring model for 2025: the Sarus 96 Plus. This semi-integrated has five belted places and – with the dinette bed added – five sleeping places. Here Rimor chooses the Fiat Ducato with 140 hp engine as the base vehicle. The Sarus 96 Plus has several beds in the back. The interior is warm and beautifully finished with indirect lighting and modern details. A solar panel and a reversing camera are part of the standard equipment. In terms of length, the Sarus is the same as the Kilig: 6.97 meters.
