Those who like to spread out on holiday don't mind a few extra centimetres. For those campers, the Kabe Royal x780 LXL is the solution. This is the widest Kabe camper - and perhaps one of the widest semi-integrated - in Europe.
Are you tempted by the slopes? Can’t wait to cross-country ski through snowy forests? Or do you want to take a walk through Winter Wonderland? Then you’re always in the right place with a camper from Kabe. If you also like plenty of space, then the campers in the Royal series are perfect for you. These are the widest campers from Kabe and perhaps the widest semi-integrateds in Europe. We take a look at the Kabe Royal x780 LXL, which is available in two layouts.
The Kabe Royal x780 LXL has an external width of 2.45 metres. We don’t often come across that in camperland. That enormous size naturally provides a sea of space inside, where the width is 2.32 metres. This is comparable to the external dimensions of many other semi-integrated campers. The Royal x780 LXL is 8.06 metres long. Of course, you need at least a C1 driving licence for this camper.
In this unprecedentedly spacious interior, there is enough space for a generous seating area with a corner sofa and a side sofa. In the optional LXL-F2F version, the L-shaped seating area makes way for face-to-face sofas that face each other, and a straight kitchen. Both layouts have four approved seats with an optional fifth seat. For the sofas and cabin seats, there is a choice of textile, artificial leather or leather upholstery. All types of upholstery combine beautifully with the Atlas Zeder wood decor, which consists of matt brown tones.
The kitchen in the Kabe Royal x780 LXL is big enough to prepare a star meal at the campsite. There is plenty of space for chopping, slicing and putting things down. The gas stove has three burners and – like the large sink – is equipped with a cover plate. The large drawers close quietly thanks to the soft-close system. The built-in oven is perfect for an evening meal and sandwiches for lunch or breakfast. The fridge-freezer, opposite the kitchen, is from Thetford and has a capacity of 141 litres.
he rear of the Kabe Royal x780 LXL is completely reserved for sleeping and personal care. The French bed is located on the passenger side. It measures 1.94 x 1.40/1.12 metres. The luxurious headboard of the bed is covered with imitation suede and has lighting. The bed has a spiral mattress and a thick mattress topper. The electric lifting bed above the seating area (2.23 x 1.17/1.03 metres) offers another spacious sleeping area for two people.
The bathroom is located next to the bed and is fully equipped: a washbasin with enough space for care products, a large mirror, a Thetford toilet and a lockable shower cubicle. Next to the bathroom is a large wardrobe with wire baskets.
Kabe campers and caravans are known for their excellent winter capabilities. The Kabe Royal x780 LXL is no different. The semi-integrated is equipped with Alde Compact 3030 central heating, underfloor heating and convectors at the entrance door. Kabe’s own AirVent system ensures sufficient ventilation in the camper. The heated cabin seats ensure that it is also comfortably warm during the journey.
Wet shoes can be placed in the drying cabinet after a day outside, so that they are ready for new adventures the next day.
Of course, this wide Kabe semi-integrated is, like other Kabe’s, also suitable for holidays in warm places. The campers and caravans are fully equipped to keep the heat outside.
The base vehicle of this 2.45-meter-wide Kabe camper is the Mercedes Sprinter with a 170 hp engine and nine-speed automatic transmission. The Kabe Royal x780 LXL is equipped with all the safety and comfort systems for a pleasant journey.
The starting price of the Royal x780 LXL is 187,870 euros.
