No caravans, but campers: Eifelland Relax on a Renault Master

Things were looking bad for Eifelland, which had been operating under the Knaus Tabbert Group flag since the 1990s. The group’s bankruptcy in 2008 meant the end for Eifelland. The well-known caravan brand was not included in the restart of Knaus Tabbert.

Eifelland Executive

In 2000, Eifelland made itself heard again, this time with a camper van on the Volkswagen Crafter: the Eifelland Executive. In the meantime, there is the Eifelland Classic on MAN or on the Crafter. The brand works together with the German furniture company NordVan for this.

Eifelland Relax on Renault Master

And now there is the Eifelland Relax on the Renault Master. The Relax already exists on the MAN and Crafter, where it is 5.99 meters long. With the 6.36 meter long Renault Master (H2L3) Eifelland buys a bit more space, which the brand uses for more standing height, loading capacity and freedom of movement.

Sleeping horizontally or lengthwise

The Eifelland Relax has a bed of 1.90 x 1.60 meters in the back. In front of it is a seat for two people, as we also see in the Clever Vans Duo 540. By using an extension of the bed, and pulling it over the seat, it is also possible to sleep lengthwise.

Kitchen with work space

The kitchen on the driver’s side has a two-burner stove and a small square sink. There are no cover plates in the kitchen. However, the worktop offers sufficient storage space.

No bathroom, but toilet

Brushing teeth, washing the cat or washing hands is no problem in the Eifelland Relax. With a bit of flexibility you can use the sink in the kitchen. For showering you really have to go to the sanitary building. There is no bathroom in this camper van. Toileting is possible. Eifelland hides a Trelino dry toilet under the seat on the passenger side.

Lots of loading space

With the Relax on the Renault Master, Eifelland focuses entirely on campers who like to take a lot with them, for example for sports adventures. The entire camper offers 3.2 m² of loading space. The loading capacity is really enormous at 900 kilos. With a maximum total capacity of 3500 kg, this Eifelland is suitable for drivers with a B driving license.
