Want to travel self-sufficiently for days in a compact A-class motorhome? You can with the iSmove from Niesmann+Bischoff, which is receiving a massive off-grid update for the 2027 model year. This luxury compact A-class motorhome is now equipped with an extensive energy package, a large fresh water tank and a matching high-capacity toilet.
That beautiful spot by the Mediterranean, in the rugged wilderness of Norway or close to a bustling Dutch city; with a motorhome you can stay overnight in the most stunning locations. However, (good) facilities are not always available. In those cases, a well-equipped off-grid package is indispensable. That is why Niesmann+Bischoff is equipping the 2027 iSmove with a Lithium Energy Pack, offering motorhome owners plenty of freedom.
A powerful energy package requires space. That is why the electrical cabinet in the rear garage has been given a makeover. However, this does not mean you have to pack less luggage. There is still plenty of room for camping furniture, bicycles, sports gear or provisions.
As standard, the Niesmann+Bischoff iSmove is equipped with a 150 Ah lithium battery. The new, optional Lithium Energy Pack takes this to a whole new level. This package consists of:
And there is room for further expansion: up to four lithium batteries with a total capacity of 600Ah and additional solar panels up to a maximum output of 660Wp. In combination with the huge fresh water tank (200 litres as standard), the toilet with an optional 120-litre capacity, and the also optional 50-litre gas tank, it is possible to travel self-sufficiently for days on end.
For the 2027 iSmove, Niesmann+Bischoff has opted for a new standard heating system: the Truma CombiNeo 6 E, naturally paired with the easy-to-use iNet X control panel. The hybrid CombiNeo 6 E runs on both gas and electricity, boasting an impressively fast heat-up time for both heating and hot running water.
For the new model year, the option list includes the Alde 3030 Plus heating system and the Alde 4000 D Plus, which runs on diesel from the vehicle’s fuel tank. Choosing the 4000 D Plus in combination with the new optional compressor fridge and the induction hob means you can travel completely gas-free.
Ever since its launch in 2020, the Niesmann+Bischoff iSmove has been a hit. With its liner-class looks and striking interior, this A-class motorhome immediately stood out from the crowd. This is also thanks to its compact dimensions ranging from 6.99 to 7.29 metres, and a maximum total weight that can remain under 3,500 kg – meaning this luxury A-class can be driven on a standard B category driving licence. For all these reasons, German campers have voted the iSmove award-worthy for several years running. Earlier this year, the iSmove even secured second place in the Promobil Readers’ Choice Awards 2026 for A-class motorhomes priced over €95,000. Number one? That was the Niesmann+Bischoff Arto, which was completely redesigned two years ago with the iSmove as its blueprint.
Motorhome enthusiasts praise the spacious feel inside the iSmove, which is achieved through open sightlines and clever space-saving solutions. Now famous is the kitchen with its pull-out worktop and a cabinet that doubles as a room divider. Another highly efficient solution is the sliding wall that transforms the bathroom into a spacious shower cubicle in just a few seconds.
Niesmann+Bischoff is sticking to these proven qualities while adding new features to the options list. In the kitchen, this includes the aforementioned induction hob with a glass cover and touchscreen. The lounge table is now available at an extra charge with an alternative base, allowing it to lower so the seating area can serve as an extra bed. Finally, the motorhome manufacturer from Polch, Germany, now offers a new awning; 5 metres long, electrically operated, and equipped with dimmable LED lighting. The base vehicle of the Niesmann+Bischoff iSmove is the Fiat Ducato, which for the new model year is equipped with the Fiat Safety
Kit. This now-mandatory package includes various safety systems, such as AEBS (Advanced Emergency Braking System) to prevent impending collisions, lane assist, drowsiness detection, and traffic sign recognition.
