A car, a boat, or a horse trailer; you might just want to take it with you on a camping holiday. In that case, a powerful motorhome is a must. For the Kabe Imperial Ri810 LGB, a heavy trailer is no problem at all. This ultra-luxurious A-class motorhome boasts an impressive towing capacity.
Kabe’s motorhomes and caravans are firmly in the premium segment. The Swedish brand uses only high-quality materials in its construction. Thanks to their excellent insulation, all of their leisure vehicles are just as suited to braving Scandinavian winters as they are to enjoying the Spanish sun.
Kabe motorhomes are divided into various ranges. In terms of exclusivity, the Imperial series – which includes both motorhomes and caravans – sits right at the top. New to this range is the Kabe Imperial Ri810 LGB, which features a familiar layout.
The ‘standard’ Kabe Imperial i860 LGB is highly popular with many campers. This is partly thanks to the excellent layout of this 8.82-metre-long A-class motorhome. In the living area, the large corner sofa is a real eye-catcher. The spacious kitchen and matching bathroom are also big crowd-pleasers. The rear single beds can easily be converted into a double bed. In total, up to six berths are possible.
The biggest difference between the new Imperial Ri810 LGB and the i810 LGB is the chassis. The standard version is built on a 5,500 kg AL-KO chassis with front-wheel drive, while for the R-model, Kabe opted for Mercedes’ own Sprinter chassis with rear-wheel drive and twin rear wheels. This chassis offers a higher towing capacity: the Imperial Ri810 LGB can tow trailers up to 2,000 kg, and the gross train weight can reach an impressive 7,000 kg. Thanks to the rear-wheel drive and twin rear wheels (two rear wheels on each side), the motorhome also has more traction, which is particularly useful on muddy tracks or wet grass.
Furthermore, this rear-wheel-drive Imperial is also available with a queen-size bed. This is the Imperial Ri810 LQB. And in the Royal series, Kabe also offers the LGB and LQB layouts with rear-wheel drive, allowing these motorhomes to tow heavy trailers as well.
In the Kabe Imperial Ri810 LGB, you can camp in comfort in any season. In winter, it stays wonderfully warm thanks to the excellent insulation, Alde wet central heating, and underfloor heating. It is also a pleasure to stay in the motorhome on hot days, as the insulated bodywork ensures the interior remains cool.
