Kabe Novum Compact 720 LXL offers 100% comfort at a width of 2.24 meters

Kabe only chooses Mercedes-Benz as its base vehicle, and the Novum Compact 720 LXL is no exception. Under the hood, the Sprinter features a 150 hp engine. New for the 2027 model year is the standard 9G-Tronic automatic transmission on all Mercedes models, which was previously reserved for the Advance package.

Premium graphics

More news can be found on the exterior. The glossy decals on all Kabe motorhomes are making way for semi-matte graphics, ensuring a cleaner and more exclusive look.

Category B driving license

In terms of weight, the Kabe Novum stays below 3,500 kg, meaning drivers with a standard Category B license are also permitted to drive this motorhome.

Larger garage with FlexiStorage

Taking bicycles on holiday? Kabe makes this even easier with the redesigned garage door for all motorhomes in the Novum series. This door is now rectangular, making it easy to load and unload bikes, camping chairs, sports equipment, or other gear. The garage has also been fitted with a new rear wall, for which the modular FlexiStorage storage system is optionally available. FlexiStorage includes bags, compartments, and a tool panel, keeping the motorhome garage neat and organized.

Ergonomic face-to-face benches

With an exterior width of 2.24 meters, the Novum Compact 720 LXL is incredibly maneuverable. But step inside, and you won’t notice those few missing centimeters. The semi-integrated motorhome feels just as spacious as any other Kabe. The face-to-face benches enhance this sense of space, and thanks to their ergonomic shape, the cushions are exceptionally comfortable. For the upholstery of the benches and captain’s chairs, there is a choice of four fabrics and two types of leather, ranging from fresh beige to stylish black. The central table consists of two parts.

New overhead cabinets

For the 2027 model year, the cabinets above the cab have been updated. With their new color, they now blend in better with the rest of the interior. Kabe is introducing this update across the Novum series and the Royal motorhomes.

Sleeping area with French bed

In the narrow, semi-integrated Novum Compact 720 LXL, Kabe has opted for a French bed measuring 196 x 132/100 cm. The aluminum bed frame supports sprung mattresses topped with a mattress protector. The headboard and side wall are upholstered in imitation leather and feature integrated lighting. A light strip is also fitted beneath the overhead cabinets that run along the sides.

Fully equipped bathroom

The bathroom is located at the very rear, to the right of the bed. This washroom is highly efficiently laid out, with the shower cubicle immediately on the right as you enter. Positioned above the swivel toilet is a fold-away washbasin, topped by a mirror cabinet. This design ensures that the bathroom in the Novum Compact 720 LXL offers plenty of cabinet space for toiletries. A window and a roof light provide ample natural light and ventilation options.

Kitchen with larger sink

The straight kitchen unit in the center of the motorhome features four base drawers and a cupboard. Above it, two overhead cabinets with spotlights provide extra illumination. The two-burner hob is equipped with piezo ignition. For this model year, the sink in the Novum – and other Kabe motorhomes – is a size larger, and the water drainage has been improved.

The Thetford refrigerator on the opposite side has a capacity of 142 liters and is framed by lighting.

Central locking and Smart D 2.0

The Kabe Novum Compact 720 LXL is equipped with all modern conveniences. Locking and unlocking the motorhome is done via central locking, which is also connected to the habitation door. The Novum is also equipped with the Smart D 2.0 control system introduced last year, which operates on CAN-bus technology. This allows the various control systems in the motorhome – such as the battery, lighting, temperature, and infotainment – to communicate with each other. The Smart D 2.0 system can be operated via a 7-inch touchscreen or dedicated apps.
