More comfort in the Tracer, additional safety systems as standard equipment, and a pop-top roof for the Innovan Pure. LMC is making various changes to its motorhomes and campervans for the 2027 model year. The manufacturer aims to streamline its range and is equipping more models with a richer set of standard features from now on.
For the 2027 model year, LMC is focusing on shorter option lists. Large parts of the standard package and the chassis design package are therefore being included in the standard equipment. All motorhomes are now equipped with modern driver assistance systems, including emergency brake assist with pedestrian detection, lane assist, and intelligent speed control. A 7-inch radio display and a reversing camera are also included as standard. The motorhomes in the Style series will also feature an illuminated trim strip. With this, LMC is opting for features that many motorhome buyers now take for granted.
The Tracer was originally developed as a lightweight and robust motorhome for the rental market, where durability, low weight, and practicality were the top priorities. However, according to LMC, private buyers requested more comfort and a more attractive interior. For 2027, the Tracer is therefore getting a significant refresh. Indirect lighting is designed to create a warmer atmosphere, while the wood decor gives the interior a homier feel. A practical shoe rack is located near the entrance.
There are also several changes in the sleeping area. Each bed will feature its own reading light. Additionally, buyers can choose from various upholstery options to better tailor the interior to their taste.
On the exterior, the Tracer features new decals. The design is inspired by the Cruiser series, bringing the different LMC motorhome models closer in line with each other.
Buyers can now choose a black chassis instead of the usual white finish. A window in the entrance door is available as an option. This brings more daylight into the interior and provides a better view outside from within the motorhome.
LMC is also expanding the technical options. The standard version features a 7-inch screen and a reversing camera. Those who want more can opt for a 10-inch touchscreen with navigation software.
For campers who like to go off-grid, the expansion of the electrical system is particularly interesting. The Tracer can be equipped factory-direct with lithium batteries with a total capacity of up to 300 Ah. Solar panels can also be installed directly at the factory in Sassenberg.
Furthermore, adaptive cruise control, electrically folding wing mirrors, and rain and light sensors are available. Pre-wiring for a tow bar is also on the options list.
In the Tracer layouts 680, 690, and 730, the drop-down bed becomes optional for the 2027 model year. This allows buyers to tailor the motorhome better to their travel party.
Those who mostly travel as a couple can leave out the drop-down bed. This saves weight and creates a more open interior. Families or campers who regularly host guests can choose to include the extra sleeping spaces.
LMC also has news in the campervan segment. The Innovan Pure was introduced in early 2026 at the CMT in Stuttgart and will feature an optional pop-top roof for the 2027 model year. This creates extra sleeping berths without increasing the size of the campervan on the road. Families, in particular, can now sleep multiple people in the compact campervan.
According to LMC, demand for the Innovan Pure has been high since its launch. With the pop-top roof, the manufacturer wants to make the model more versatile. The campervan remains aimed at campers looking for a relatively simple and affordable van conversion, but now offers more options for families.

For the 2027 model year, LMC is focusing on more standard equipment and less complex package options. Along with this, the Tracer gets not only a more modern look but also more comfort and technical options.
The changes to the Innovan Pure are less drastic, but the optional pop-top roof makes the campervan much more appealing to families. In this way, LMC aims to offer more choice to both couples and campers with children, without making the range unnecessarily complicated.
