The Erwin Hymer Group (EHG) is launching a new brand of campers in the entry-level segment: Corigon. Initially, the fleet will consist of bus campers and semi-integrateds; four series and a total of twelve models. EHG is expected to show the latest addition to the family at the Caravan Salon 2025, which will start at the end of August.

The German Promobil recently reported the news about Corigon. According to the camping platform, the campers of the new brand are intended for price-conscious campers who are looking for a reliable and functional camper.

Disappeared from the entry-level segment

EHG previously launched the entry-level brands Carado, Sunlight and Etrusco on the market. However, these brands have increased in price in recent years and that has consequences. “We have noticed that we have disappeared a bit from the entry-level segment due to price increases,” says Alexander Leopold, CEO of EHG, about this in an interview with Promobil.

Attractive starting price

Corigon will not replace these three, but will be alongside them. However, the starting price will be significantly lower than that of Carado, Sunlight and Etrusco. According to Promobil, Corigon will cost less than 60,000 euros in Germany.

Production in Tuscany

For this new brand, EHG once again opts for the popular Fiat Ducato and Ford Transit as the base vehicle. Production will take place in Tuscany, Italy, in the factory where Laika and Etrusco also come from.

Ahorn Camp

This means that they will be busy in San Casciano. EHG recently announced the collaboration with Ahorn Camp. From September onwards, the German family business will also produce their campers on Renault Master in this factory. “Our customers benefit from the first-class production processes and the high production quality of the Erwin Hymer Group,” said CEO Alexander Reichmann. Corigon in the Netherlands?

EHG will certainly reveal more about Corigon in the coming months. One thing is already known: the brand will not be coming to the Netherlands initially.
